OJSC North-West Telecom has completed implementing the PETER-SERVICE Contact Management System

In September 2009 OJSC North-West Telecom Completed Implementing the PETER-SERVICE Contact Management Service (CMS). The Russia n company Peter-Service is the supplier of this universal software product, its solutions having been used by almost 50 operators of both cellular and fixed communication.  

The PETER-SERVICE Contact Management System (CMS) is the software for the automation of the business process es of client servicing by telecommunication operator companies with a complete cycle of functions related to the registration and subsequent handling of applications received from both the current and potential clients. The system makes it possible to register all kinds of contacts with clients, such as visits, calls, fax messages, letters, electronic messages, etc., to and to manage the process es of service provision and application handling.

The Contact Management System has made it possible for OJSC N.W. Telecom to organize comprehensive interaction of information system s dealing with client servicing and to exclude the operations of double   entry of data during their interaction. Besides, it makes it possible to create a single storage of information for processing clients ' applications. It is now possible to store the history of work with concrete requests and applications.

The System's operation logic largely related exactly to supporting various technological business process es makes it possible for OJSC N.W. Telecom to automate, among other things, the operations of providing services and working with orders. The said services include both the traditional telephony and the up-to-date Triple Play broadband access services (Internet, digital TV, and digital telephony).

"It is cooperation with the Russia n developer that is both productive and quite efficient for us", Andrey Yakovkin, Deputy General Manager of OJSC N.W.Telecom in charge of Information Technologies, noted. "In the framework of this implementation, Peter-Service has done much work which has been a success in integrating its software product with other products used by OJSC N.W. Telecom. The CMS interacts with the communication network operation support system developed on the basis of the Siemens Ironman software and with the broadband access equipment management system built on the basis of the Hewlett-Packard SA/SM products. The high efficiency of engaging Russia n specialists in the projects is first of all accounted for by their competence and thorough knowledge of the real operation of the telecommunications market in Russia, which makes it possible to save the main thing under the conditions of the crisis – the time needed to achieve the result."
