The 2009 rating tables were compiled on the basis of the Markets and Companies Professional Analysis System.

IDGC of North-West occupies the 39th position in TOP 40 largest companies of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, in opinion of “Business Petersburg” (Delovoy Peterburg) edition.

“Business Petersburg” presents the rating of St. Petersburg’s and Leningrad Region’s largest companies. The summary table included 438 companies, the earnings of which exceed RUR 1 billion.

This year the information was not gathered directly from companies, thus completely excluding subjectivity of the rating. The rating tables were compiled on the basis of the information of the Markets and Companies Professional Analysis System (MCPAS).

The MCPAS accumulates the data of financial statements presented by the Federal State Statistics Service, Federal Tax Service, and Federal Financial Markets Service. The MCPAS uses information received from the Uniform State Register of Enterprises and Organizations, Uniform State Register of Legal Entities, and Uniform State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs.

All the enterprises and organizations are ranged basing on earnings, assets, and profit/loss according to their reporting as of the beginning of September 2009.
