Realization of the program is extremely important for a thriving city, for its each citizen. The share of TGC-9 in the heating of the capital of the Urals is more than 66% and its sources of heat support 34% of the metropolitan-area heat load. Nearly 200 km of long-haul heat networks of the company are the backbone of the system of district heating of the city. The system rests on city decisions of the 60-s of the last century that did not provide for the scale many-storied development of the centre, Botanichesky and Yugo-Zapadny locations. For reliable heating of newly built objects that were provided by the general plan of the development of Ekaterinburg for the nearest three years, it is necessary to provide construction of new heating runs and modernization of old ones. The expected growth of heat power must be 298,6 Gkal/hour.

The goal of the investment program is provision of access of districts of advanced development of Ekaterinburg for heating system, increase of its reliability, capacity of heating runs, development of enginnering infrastructure. So, for accessing of new consumers in the centre of the city they have provided construction of new heating runs with enlargement of diameter of pipes, they have to transfer Sortirovochny location to the reliable district heating, for improvement of hydraulic modes build the tank-accumulators at Sverdlovskaya and Novo-Sverdlovskaya HPP, at pumping station No.12.

For realization of the arrangements of the Investment program of TGC-9 it is necessary to attract financial assets in the sum of 2 640 million RUR. For it they have provided to determine the charge for connection with heat networks of newly built objects. It will allow to avoid denial in disclosure of technical conditions of connection and provide demands of heat energy of new districts of the develoment.
