Today Gazprom’s delegation chaired by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee completed its working visit to Turkmenistan.

Alexey Miller attended the inaugurational ceremony of the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan and the negotiations between Mikhail Fradkov, Chairman of the Russian Government and Gurbangula Berdymukhammedov, Turkmen President. Gazprom’s delegation also met Gurbanmyrat Ataev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Oil & Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, Ishanguly Nuryev, Deputy Minister of Oil & Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, Bagtiyar Khadzhygurbanov, Chairman of the Turkmen national gas company Turkmengaz and Garyagdy Tashliev, Chairman of Turkmenneft.

The parties highly appreciated the results of long lasting and fruitful cooperation in the oil & gas sector. The parties also confirmed the contract commitments for Turkmen gas deliveries to Russia up to 2028 and expressed the intention to develop and globally strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation based on the existing long-term contract.
