On September 23rd, Vladimir Bogdanov, Director General of OJSC "Surgutneftegas" and Alexander Dukov, President of OJSC "AK Sibur" signed a long-term contract to supply 1.514 million tons of wide spread of light hydrocarbons and approximately 31.5 thousand tons of compressed associated petroleum gas.
Under the contract Surgutneftegas supplies Sibur with 332,000 tons of wide spread of light hydrocarbons in each year of 2004 and 2005 and 425,000 tons in each year of 2006 and 2007. Under the same contract Surgutneftegas supplies approximately 9.6 thousand tons of compressed associated petroleum gas in 2004 and 7.3 thousand tons in each of the following three years. The parties reached an agreement that Sibur would keep supplying Surgutneftegas with petrochemicals (tires, cable, methyl-tert-butyl ester and others) required by the company?s enterprises.
