NSMMZ (Nizhniye Sergi), a key company in NLMK Group’s Long Products Division which operates from three production sites in Sverdlovsk region in the Urals, has been renamed JSC NLMK Ural.

The company adopted a new charter and registered the change of name with the Inspectorate of the Tax Service of Russia #30 for Sverdlovsk region.

The name and corporate identity of the company were brought in line with its production profile, its geographical footprint and its role as part of NLMK Group’s unified technological chain.

NLMK Ural is the key asset of NLMK Group’s Long Products Division. It is managed by NLMK Long Products. NLMK Ural has production sites located in 3 cities: Revda (EAF steelmaking), Nizhniye Sergi and Berezovsky (long steel manufacturing). The company specializes in the production of rebar in rods and in bundles, and wire rod. The company has a production capacity of 2.2 million tonnes per year; manufacturing 2 million tonnes of long products used in construction.
