Specialists of Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) completed another stage of capital repairs of overhead power transmission lines from 110 kV Tsentralnaya 1,2 substation to 110 kV Ulyanovskaya substation. Power engineers performed a variety of works on 7.5 km site: they replaced defected wire and ground wire, painted two metal supports. They also cut bushes and tree crowns to prevent their contact with the wires. The prompt repair ensures reliable power supply to customers, including Ulyanovsk branch of Kuybyshev Railway, one of the largest Russian manufacturers of electric and mechanical products Kontaktor Plant, JSC, Entertainment and Shopping Mall Aquamall and many other social facilities downtown. The capital repair of overhead power transmission lines is carried out under this year's production program. In the coming months the company plans capital repairs of high-voltage power lines 110 kV Ulyanovsk-Kremyonki 1,2 and Severnaya 1,3.
