Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) began reconstruction works of Dergachi-I 110 kV overhead transmission line on the section Dergachi-Chadykla. The line covers the Ershovsky, Dergachevsky and Ozinksky districts. To implement the reconstruction project, specialists use technical solutions meeting the requirements of the latest applicable state rules, standards and regulations. In the course of such reconstruction the distance between poles will be reduced as the transmission lines are located in the regions prone to ice crusting. For this purpose, the company plans to mount new metal and reinforced concrete poles, as well as rectify the existing poles. Some sections will undergo the replacement of terminal and suspension insulators, new wiring and off-load anchors. To ensure protection against lightning strikes, power transmission lines are equipped with renewed ground wires. Once completed, this project will ensure increased operational safety, along with significantly enhanced reliability of power supply for consumers of the Ershovsky, Dergachevsky and Ozinsky districts of the Saratov region.
