Severstal is taking part in the conference for obvious reasons. In 2001, the company was a winner of the national competition and received the title of the Company of High Social Responsibility in the Qualifications and HR Development category. Later Russian Ministry of Labor conducted a seminar at Severstal on methods of working with young employees. Severstal's Young Employee Program was recommended for studying and application at all Russian industrial companies.
Leonid Gavrilov pointed out that the conference, which is arranged in the framework of the HR Congress, will serve to consolidate and share best experience in HR development and management. The agenda of the conference includes 7 topics. Reports will be given on general HR management functions and special technologies of, for example, comprehensive staff evaluation, motivation management, etc.
Participants will exchange ideas at the round table discussions on HR Director Standard: Professional Ethics, Professional Skills and Professional Personality Profile.
Besides Severstal, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical plant represents the steel industry at the conference and congress among 30 companies-participants, including Rusimport Trade House, Moscow International Business School, Ukos, Alfa Bank, Kalina Corporation, National Center of Human Resources and many others.
