On July 14, Sergey Sobyanin, Mayor of the City of Moscow, visited the site of ZILART art-class residential complex being built by LSR Group in order to check the progress of works related to a comprehensive reorganization of ZIL industrial area. 

Andrey Molchanov, CEO of LSR Group and Chairman of the Executive Committee, told the Mayor during the excursion about the progress of the construction works as well as about facilities to be constructed on the territory of ZILART.

“The first residents are to be housed in the beginning of 2018. We plan to build a pedestrian boulevard where Hermitage-Moscow Museum will be located. It is to be commissioned in 2020. This is a thematic center having the capacity to annually host about 15 thousand guests”, noted Mr. Molchanov. Also, we plan to build embankments of four kilometers long having width from 90 to 200 m. The first part of the embankment is to be ready in 2018”.

According to the Mayor’s opinion, the territory of the former automotive factory will become one of the strategic megaprojects of Moscow development for the foreseeable future. “Obviously, it is very important to improve the transport accessibility on this territory, because even now it is in a bad condition. That is why, it is planned to build about thirty kilometers of a road network and several bridge crossings”, emphasized Sergey Sobyanin. “This year we are to commission a Moscow Ring Railway line with two platforms on the territory of the complex under construction. Thus, two metro stations, two Moscow Central Ring line stations, and the relevant road network will operate”.

New residential complex being built by LSR Group will be located 5 km away from Kremlin and will become a perfect place of living for those who appreciate their comfort, business opportunities, creative realization and inspiration from various cultural events. ZILART will be consisted of public areas, unique apartment blocks, as well as social, cultural, educational and entertainment facilities designed in the uniform architectural style.
