Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies) replaced bushings at one of the transformers at Pishchevaya 110/10 kV Substation in Saratov. These power facilities supply industrial and household consumers on a considerable area of the Leninsky district. The largest of them are Saratov City Power Grids, CJSC; Independent Power Grid Company, CJSC; Municipal Company Saratovvodokanal. In the course of the regular repair power engineers replaced sealed oil-filled bushings GMTA-45-110/630 with bushings with solid insulation GKTSh-60-126/800 Î1 at transformer No. 2 of Pishchevaya Substation. Such high-voltage bushings are used in the high-voltage terminal of the transformer unit. Bushings with solid insulation differ from oil-filled bushings by the absence of transformer oil in their design. The space between the body and casing is filled by unigel ensuring both safe operation and lower operation costs. The replaced bushings will largely increase the substation reliability and improve supply.
