North-West Telecom’s Board of Directors held a meeting on October 03, 2003. Aside from issues concerned with NWT’s operating, financial, and economic activities, the BoD took up Director General A.A. Sysoyev’s application for premature resignation.

BoDresolved:

• To dismiss Director General A.A. Sysoyev on the basis of his personal application;
• To appoint S.I. Kuznetsov Director General of NWT for a two-year term.

S.I. Kuznetsov’s biography

Born December 25, 1953, in the city of Rustavi, Georgian SSR (SovietSocialistRepublic). Served in the Republic’s Armed Forces in 1973-1975. Graduated from the North-West Polytechnic of Leningradin 1981 (major in Computer Technology).

After graduation, worked as chief engineer of the scientific-and-research institute Krasnaya Zarya, senior engineer of the state enterprise Leningrad City Telephone Network, head of the companies Delta Telecom, Telecominvest, PeterStar. At present, Sergey Kuznetsov heads OAO Rostelecom and is member of the Board of Directors of Svyazinvest.
