Rosseti and Moscow Government to develop the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles together

Rosseti and the Moscow Government concluded the cooperation agreement to  develop the infrastructure for charging electric buses, cars and two-wheeled electric vehicles in the capital region as part of the Moscow Urban Forum 2019 on July 4, 2019.  Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin and Mr. Pavel Livinskiy, Rosseti's CEO, signed the document

The agreement envisages setting up of a joint working group, the participants of which will elaborate the single concept of the charging infrastructure development, including the economic model of the charging services for electric buses, cars and two-wheeled electric vehicles. The transportation and city construction policy implemented by the Moscow Government, the experience of free parking of electric cars in the charging infrastructure facilities location and Rosseti's existing infrastructure will be taken into account in drafting the concept.

Drafting regulations and laws, implementation of the respective investment projects, coordination of the technological connection of the charging infrastructure facilities to the municipal power grids  are planned for successful implementation of the agreement. 

Rosseti Group of Companies invests RUB 200 million in development of the power grid infrastructure to support operations of the charging stations.

"Moscow's commitment to improving the urban ecology by introducing electric buses and electric cars sets a significant and important task to the energy companies, to  secure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to the charging infrastructure facilities,  to improve the technological connection of charging stations to the power grids.  Rosseti is going to become Russia's first federal operator of  electric filling stations  for all electric vehicles, moreover  the Company has already installed 226 electric filling stations in all regions of its presence", noted Mr. Pavel Livinskiy, Rosseti's CEO, during his speech.
