The CEO of JSC Russian Grids talked about the need to consolidate the power supply network for the creation of a unified and transparent responsibility mechanism, to improve manageability and the management structure and to search for new ways of financing and developing the grid network which would include attracting foreign investors willing to provide not only money, but also advanced solutions.

As part of the working meeting the Acting CEO of JSC IDGC of the South Boris Ebzeev gave a report to the Head of JSC Russian Grids on the company’s performance in the first half of 2014 and the prospective development plans of the company.

The participants of the meeting paid particular attention to the progress of the repair works and the preparation for the autumn-winter season of 2014-2015. It was also observed that the amount of the repair works increased by 14% in comparison with the same period of 2013, and their performance is 138% ahead of schedule (54% ahead the annual plan).

Such an approach allows us to be independent of contractors and to ensure quality and the effective accomplishment of repair programmes on schedule. Also noted was the high level of personnel response in emergency cases – most faults are dealt with in the first few hours.
