In order to ensure deeper processing of hydrocarbon feedstock, an Alpha-Olefin Production Unit of the Oligomer Plant at Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc intends to arrange production of LAB's and motor synthetic oil base.
Synthetic oil base is not produced in Russia but imported. That is why this project is rather promising.
A contract is signed with an Italian company “Ballestra” for predisign study and cost estimate of the project.
