Open Joint—Stock Society Central Telegraph on the 3rd of October, 2003, opens its local service provision center in the town of Mytishchi.

In Mytishci Central Telegraph has already installed AXE-10 switch exchange by Ericsson for 5,000 numbers. One extension has been already put into operation. Two more extensions will be launched in the beginning of the next year in those district with the sharpest lack of telephones. The company built its own backbone network and continues its steady development.

Central Telegraph installed CDMA radio access equipment for operational connection of subscribers.

JSC Central Telegraph's rate for installation of direct Moscow numbers is 750 US Dollars (all taxed included); monthly fee is 190 Rubles a month. During the action related with the inauguration of the service provision center, telephone installation fee is reduced by 10% to 675 US Dollars (all taxes included). This offer is valid from October 6 till November 6, 2003.

Subscribers can save a lot on international and domestic long-distance calls if they make calls to special number 500-00-08.

Those subscribers who buy telephone services at JSC Central Telegraph can also use additional types of service such as re-addressing of a number, conference calls, etc.

Besides telephone communication the company provides to individual and corporate customers access to the Internet via switched and dedicated channels. Subscribers accessing the Internet over dial-up service work with the speed up to 56 Kbps. This service is available if customers execute a contract in a local service provision center or if they buy a Centel Internet card. The cost of one hour of work in the Internet is 0.5 USD at the daytime, 0.7 USD in the evening and 0.2 USD at night (all taxes inclusive); the subscribers of Central Telegraph enjoy 10% discount.
