Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), performs overhaul works of the equipment at Industrialnaya 110/10/6 kV substation. The substation has already had 110 kV outdoor switchgear disconnecting switches midlife repaired and 6 kV vacuum switches routinely repaired. Metal shields have been installed on the disconnecting switches to improve occupational safety of servicing personnel. Sealed oiled-filled entrance bushings of 110 kV on the power transformers were replaced with entrance bushings with solid insulation. This will allow to reduce labor intensity and cost of technical maintenance of transformers as well as the frequency of their take-downs for regular repairs. New entrance bushings will also improve fire safety of the equipment. New LED lamps were installed at the substation to provide proper lightning. They will reduce costs for lighting by three times while its quality will improve as well. The substation overhaul will facilitate increase of reliability of power supply for customers living in the industrial part of Engels, the Saratov region, among which are construction and machine manufacturing companies, warehouse distribution centers and public health institutions.
