In June, power engineers of Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC, (subsidiary and affiliate of OAO Rosseti), have completed overhaul activities at VL-10 kV five facilities in Alatyrsky, Krasnoarmeysky, Tsivilsky, Cheboksarsky and Yadrinsky regions of the republic. The repair activities included replacement of 75 power transmission supports and 378 insulators. Furthermore, the works encompassed the replacement of metal cross-beams, line-isolating switches and reinforced concrete bases, installation of additional supports, cleaning of overhead transmission line routes by removing trees and shrubs, etc. Total cost of work amounted to 2 million 105 thousand rub. (inclusive of VAT). Quality and promptness of repair work is still one of the most important tasks for power engineers. Annual repair campaign is aimed at enhancement of reliability, reliance and safety of electric grid facilities that further contributes to a high quality of electricity and reliable supply of the Chuvash Republic consumers with power.
