Vladimir Mulyak, OAO LUKOIL Vice President for Research and Technology, General Director of OOO LUKOIL-Engineering, and Aleksey Khokhlov, Provost of Lomonosov Moscow State University, signed a Cooperation Agreement between LUKOIL research subdivision and the MSU.
The Agreement provides for joint research, development and design work in the areas of geology, field development and hydrocarbon production.
The Parties plan cooperative research in acoustic methods of formation stimulation, rock tomographic measurement, pore space analysis and the development of a filtration mathematical model. In addition, employees of LUKOIL-Engineering will participate in activities at the MSU Center “Search, Exploration and Development of Hydrocarbon Fields”.
LUKOIL-Engineering also plans to introduce grants for the MSU academic and teaching staff, research teams and also scholarships for the University’s students.
