October 02, 2003 marks 25 years since a polymer section of SIR PLANT was put into operation and first isoprene rubber bale was produced. This is one of the major plants at Nizhnekamskneftekhim Inc with a 1740 personnel. Namely, they contribute to the production stability and are continuously improving the quality of rubber, which 99.9% of the total output meets the international standard requirements.

Within that period of 25 years, SIR PLANT produced 3 650 000 tons of isoprene rubber. Today, 40% of the output is exported to 15 countries worldwide. But the capacity of SIR PLANT is still being increased. In the near future, it is going to reach 170 000 tons of marketable products per annum.
