In January-May this year sales of energy to the company’s own consumers reached 104%, with heat sales at 112% and electricity sales at 103%.

As of June 1, 2002, the total consumer debt to AO MOSENERGO reached 7,340 million rubles. As a result of efforts aimed at reducing the debt, AO MOSENERGO ensured that the number of non-payers decreased like the amount of the debt itself.

By early July, AO MOSENERGO had improved settlements with wholesale resellers and federal entities (enterprises funded from the federal budget). Based on January-May results the level of payments from wholesale resellers was at 111.2%, and from federal entities-101.5%.

After the first five months of 2002 the debt of companies, which had purchased AO MOSENERGO’s energy at the wholesale market FOREM decreased by 17%. As of early June, the debt amounted to 1,067 million rubles.
