General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC Vladimir Ryabikin took part in the All-Russian meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation "On the Results of the Passage of the Heating Season of 2018/19 by the Subjects of the Electric Power Industry and the Housing and Utility Facilities".
During the meeting, it was noted that the country's energy system passed the maximum load in normal mode, which is largely due to the high-quality preparation for the autumn-winter period. IDGC of Volga annually implements a set of measures to prepare for the autumn-winter period. So, last year financing of the implementation of the maintenance and repair plan exceeded 3.8 billion rubles. During the assessment of readiness to work in the heating season 2018/2019 the company received the highest score of 1.
The power engineering specialists of IDGC of Volga worked in accordance with the new target model for the elimination of technological disruptions developed by PJSC Rosseti. This made it possible to reduce the average duration of consumers' power cuts by 19%, the specific accident rate by 18%, technological disruptions in the 110 kV network and higher - by 19%. Timely spent ice melting in electrical grids ensured the required level of reliability of power supply to consumers in adverse weather conditions. In the period of the autumn and winter 2018-2019, 670 melts of ice deposits were carried out on the company's grids.
Thanks to the system of interaction and rapid response, the specialists of IDGC of Volga evaluated the consequences of the elements on time, coordinated the joint activities of the branches, ensured the necessary emergency rescue and recovery measures. The company has formed 864 brigades (63 of which are mobile), provided with 1.675 units of technical equipment. Being an organization of emergency power supply of socially significant facilities, IDGC of Volga disposes 507 mobile sources and 3 modular mobile substations.
"The company passed the autumn-winter period successfully, with the consequences of the negative natural phenomena of the power industry coped adequately", CEO of IDGC of Volga Vladimir Ryabikin said. "Now our task is to prepare well for the next winter season, to increase the reliability of the distribution grid complex of the regions of the company's area of responsibility".
