The International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, RusInterExpo and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs organized the exhibition.

The exhibition is dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and reflects the achievements in the production and transportation sectors of countries whose national unions are members to the Congress.

AO MOSENERGO took part in this exhibition at the invitation of the Federal and Mining Inspectorate of the Russian Federation - Gosgortekhnadzor that oversees operations of potentially hazardous industrial facilities. Gosgortekhnadzor has set up a section at the exhibition dedicated to the industrial safety. AO MOSENERGO will exhibit the newest achievements in the area of licensing and industrial safety, as well as operations of hazardous industrial facilities.
As of today 54 branches of the company operate hazardous industrial facilities. All of them have been insured and added to the State registry.

From 1999, the operational and technical department of AO MOSENERGO started to independently develop a proprietary methodology for identifying hazardous industrial facilities and the system for industrial safety administration. According to Victor Karpov, deputy head of the operational and technical department of AO MOSENERGO, the new methodology fully complies with key provisions of procedural recommendations prepared by Gosgortekhnadzor. The department has also drawn guidelines for implementing the federal law “On Industrial Safety at Energy Utilities.” Other regional energy companies have actively used this AO MOSENERGO experience. As a result of the cooperation with the Moscow branch of Gosgortekhnadzor, AO MOSENERGO has received a package of licenses for operation of underground facilities, elevators, boiler and gas facilities.
