February 5, 1998 - Today LUKOIL President Vagit Alekperov has visited Saratov (the Lower Volga region).

He is to meet with Governor of Saratov region Dmitri Ayatskov and sign a protocol on cooperation between LUKOIL and the government of the Saratov region. This document supplements the Agreement on Cooperation signed by the sides on June 25, 1997.

Under the Protocol, the Company in 1998 will build seven European-standard LUKOIL gas-filling complexes in Saratov region, and also start building 13 more gas-filling complexes and a tank farm.
