On January 23, the Moscow Foundation for Peace issued a team membership certificate to the Moscow Technical College (MTC). The certificate was awarded at the Moscow Technical College. The Moscow Foundation for Peace is a charity organization that was created in 1997, on the basis of the Russian Foundation for Peace. The Foundation has developed and carried out a number of programs aimed to provide support and aid to war veterans, mothers and widows of servicemen, victims of cerebral paralysis, and orphanages. In addition, the Foundation exchanges experience with foreign charities and receives delegations from other countries.
The Moscow Technical College has been cooperating with the Moscow Foundation for Peace for several years. The organizations provide joint support to the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers, they organize memorial meetings and concerts in which artistic teams from the college take part. Last year, the Moscow Technical College received a Vietnamese delegation, which visited Moscow at the Foundation's invitation. The College held a roundtable discussion, which was attended by MTC teachers, to discuss the Russian education system and various educational issues.
As a result of receiving Foundation membership, MTC and the foundation will be able to enhance the cooperation and develop new joint projects.
