LUKOIL has purchased 10 OERAL-branded automated filling stations in Belgium. These stations will be re-branded to comply with the LUKOIL corporate style and will be launched to the market under the “LUKOIL Express” name.
Another transaction, to acquire 21 ROTONDE-branded filling stations in the Netherlands, is currently being completed. Fifteen of the filling stations are automated and will operate under the “LUKOIL Express” name as well.
With these new acquisitions, the total number of LUKOIL filling stations in the Benelux countries will rise to 250 with 187 in Belgium, 61 in the Netherlands and 2 in Luxembourg.
LUKOIL entered the Benelux retail market in 2007 following the acquisition of a filling station network in Belgium and Luxembourg. In 2012, the company acquired a filling station network in the Netherlands.
