Moscow, December 17, 2013 – Pharmstandard OJSC (“Pharmstandard” or the “Company”), a leading pharmaceutical company in Russia, announces temporary suspension of trading activities of ordinary shares on the Moscow Stock Exchange as of December 17, 2013 due to submission of the application for the state registration of OTCPharm PJSC (“OTCPharm”) created through reorganization.

National settlement depositary (“NSD”) has temporarily suspended operations with the receipt of the information by registrar “ROST” that the Company has filed an application for the state registration of OTCPharm PJSC (“OTCPharm”) on December 16, 2013.

Moscow Exchange in its turn has temporarily suspended trading of Pharmstandard ordinary shares after receiving a suspension notice from NSD by the end of trading day on December 16, 2013.

Trading activities are suspended until OTCPharm state registration.
