By now, power engineers of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC (subsidiary and affiliate of OAO Rosseti), have repaired 302 km of overhead transmission lines (VL) of 110 kV, 245.8 km of VL-35 kV, 895 km of VL-6-10 kV and 503.9 km of VL-0.4 kV. In parallel, 121.2 ha of routes within rights-of-way were cleaned from trees and shrubs, including ROWs up to 23.2 ha width. Furthermore, the work included the repairs of 20 substations of 110 kV with total capacity of 355.4 MVA, 20 substations of 35 kV with total capacity of 103.4 MVA, 510 transformer substations of 6-10 kV with total capacity of 38 MVA and 99 transformers of 6-10 kV with total capacity of 9.5 MVA. Timely performance of repairs and maintenance of facilities are intended to improve reliability of supplying the consumers of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, JSC, with power, and represent a crucial part of the process aimed at preparation of the whole grid complex for successful operation under autumn-winter peak loads.
