From 1 April 2008, the OJSC North-West Telecom in Vologda, Kaliningrad, Novgorod, Pskov, Leningrad regions and Karelia Republic is expanding the current package offers for the communications services making them more attractive for the subscribers .

For subscribers-citizens the package offers «Region (Republic)» or «Region+ (Republic+)», which include the telephone communications services for fixed numbers within the Region and the services on dial-up access to the Internet, from 1 April are   supplemented by intra-zone calls to the numbers of mobile communications subscribers*.

In this case, a fixed monthly payment for the «Region» and «Region+» packages operating in the above regions does not change. For the subscribers – physical entities in the Karelia Republic, a monthly payment for intra-zone connections included into the «Republic», «Republic+» package is established at the level of payment for the «Region», «Region+» packages, i.e. it is reduced by 6%.

Besides, for the subscribers-citizens the cost of 1 minute of intra-zone connection is reduced in case of exceeding the volume of intra-zone connections included into the package, on the average, by 4% for the Vologda, Kaliningrad, Novgorod, Pskov and Leningrad regional branches; by 10% for the subscribers in the Karelian Branch (the cost of one minute in case of exceeding the included volume in Karelia is established at the level of the Central branches).

For the subscribers-organizations, the packages of communication services remain unchanged. However, for all organizations using the package offers «Region (Republic)» or «Region+ (Republic+)» intra-zone connections to the numbers of subscribers of mobile operators* are provided at reduced rates (from 1.40 to 2.25 roubles depending on the package and time of the day).

OJSC North-West Telecom offers to its subscribers in Vologda, Novgorod, Pskov, Leningrad regions and Karelia Republic packages of services of intra-zone communications for physical and legal entities: «Region», «Republic» (in the Republic of Karelia) or «Region+», «Republic+». Packages «Region+» and «Republic+», in addition to intra-zone telephone connections, also include the services of dial-up Internet access.

- Packages of services for subscribers-citizens include a monthly volume of intra-zone telephone connections (including calls to mobile numbers*) of 150 or 250 minutes at a certain time of the day (on working day, from 18.00 to 08.00; as well as round-the-clock on weekends and holidays). When choosing the «+» packages, a monthly volume of dial-up Internet connections is 400 or 500 minutes (at any time of the day). Monthly fixed payment depending on the set of services will range from 225 to 545 roubles (VAT inclusive).

- Packages of services for organizations include the volume of telephone connections to the fixed numbers within the Region of 350 or 500 minutes on working days from 08.00 to 18.00 and can include the volume of dial-up Internet connections of 900, 1,200 or 1,250 minutes a month Monthly fixed payment depending on the set of services will range from 700 to 1,470 roubles (VAT exclusive).

*Intra-zone calls are calls from fixed-line phones to telephones of the subscribers of mobile operators registered within one subject of the RF (for instance, calls from district centres and other inhabited localities in Arkhangelsk Region to the numbers of subscribers of a mobile communications operator registered in Arkhangelsk as well as calls from fixed-line phones in the city of Arkhangelsk to the numbers of subscribers of a mobile communications operator registered in Arkhangelsk).
