Within the limits of the program of decrease of occupational traumatism and preservation of health of employees of TGC-9 and contracting organizations the year 2007 was announced in the company the Year of labour protection and safety techniques.

Major tasks of the Year of labour protection are maximum utilization of the cumulative experience in the field of decrease of traumatism, introduction in TGC-9 of the system of control in the field of labour protection and prevention of occupational diseases according to international and Russian standards OHSAS 18001:1999 and GOST P 12.0.006-2002.

Within the limits of the arrangements of labour protection in the company they will develop the system of psychophysiologic provision of reliability and security of professional activity and preservation of health of the staff. Besides, the important tasks of the Year of labour protection and safety techniques in TGC-9 are further introduction in the company of the modern certified means of individual protection of the staff, raising of level of production security, prevention of traumatism of workers of contracting organizations at energy objects.

The efficiency of the program will be appraised quarterly. Arrangements of safety techniques won’t be limited by the year 2007 – according to its results TGC-9 will carry out the detailed analysis and the cumulative experience and workings in the field of decrease of occupational traumatism will in future be used at energy objects of the company.

The Year of labour protection and safety techniques in all production branches of TGC-9 began in January, when at the stations and heat networks that belong to the company, took place the Day of safety techniques.

The Day of ST is held in the company every month. Commissions, consisting of heads of profile directions, departments, production branches of TGC-9, examined the conditions of labour safety. Members of the commission were also in detail acquainted with the situation on two or three specific questions. For example, at Novo-Sverdlovskaya HPP they examined the maintenance of tour and allowance system, sanitary state of the territory. In Perm heat networks they examined the accuracy of keeping of technical and special documentation, maintenance of tour and allowance system. At Bereznikovskaya HPP-2 they examined sanitary state of doghouses and working areas, availability and accuracy of application of means of individual protection.

According to the results of the examination in production branches of TGC-9 they will make a list of priority arrangements on improvement of conditions of labour protection.
