Today the Gazprom Headquarters has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Eduard Kokoita, President of the Republic of South Ossetia.

The parties discussed issues related to gas supplies to the South Ossetia and construction of a gas pipeline from the settlement of Dzuarikau (Republic of North Ossetia-Alania) to the town of Tskhinval (Republic of South Ossetia).

The construction of the pipeline from the settlement of Dzuarikau (Republic of North Ossetia-Alania) to the town of Tskhinval (Republic of South Ossetia) was started in December 2006. The total gas pipeline length is at 163 km, flow capacity is at 252.5 mcm per annum.
