MOSCOW, November 24, 2003 - SUN Interbrew Limited was given The Best Advertiser of the Year award at the 13th Moscow International Advertising Festival held from November 20 to 22, “for its contribution into development of Russian advertising and establishment of self-regulation principles on the Russian advertising market”.

The jury of the festival especially noted positive changes in SUN Interbrew’s attitude to the style of its advertising and strict observance of the principles stated in the Corporate Code of Communication and Marketing Standards that has been effective at SUN Interbrew since the beginning of the year. The decision to award the prize was taken into consideration this year’s successful advertising campaigns of such brands as Stella Artois, Staropramen, Sibirskaya Korona, Klinskoye Samurai, Klinskoye Redkoe, which had been highly appreciated by specialists and consumers.

According to Igor Yankovsky, President of the Moscow International Advertising Festival, “only advertisers’ responsible and professional attitude to advertising of their products can help solve many problems in this sphere. Self-regulation, on the one hand, and a constructive dialogue among advertisers, authorities and mass media, on the another hand, is a precondition of future successful development of the advertising community”.
