On 21 January 2003 the first meeting of the newly elected Board of Directors of the united company was held after the Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting
At the meeting Vadim Belov, Deputy General Director of "Svyazinvest" PJSC, was elected the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Southern Telecommunications Company" PJSC. Vladimir Gorbachev, General Director of "UTK" PJSC, was elected Vice-chairman of "UTK" PJSC Board of Directors.
