Alexey Mordashov, the head of the Severstal-group, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Severstal, was ranked in the top ten overall leaders in the rating. Additionally, he took first place in two special sections of the rating. He was ranked the most professional manager in the Northwestern region and the most professional manager in the steel industry.
   The list of regional leaders also included Sergey Sokolov, general director of ChSPZ (Cherepovets Steel Rolling Plant) and Oleg Mikhailov, general director of Karelsky Okatysh. Both companies are part of the Severstal-group. General director of Karelsky Okatysh was the only manager in the Karelia republic, who was listed in the first one hundred entrants.
   Experts evaluated professional skills of managers in four specialized areas, which was reflected in four additional ratings.
   The list of 200 most professional financial directors included Eugene Romashin (Karelsky Okatysh), Igor Panin (ChSPZ) and Alexander Konyukhov (Zavolzhye Engine-making Plant).
   The list of 200 most professional commercial directors included Olga Naumova (ChSPZ), Alexey Tzverkhman (Karelsky Okatysh) and Igor Morozov (former head of ZMZ commercial department).
   Experts gave high marks to professional qualities of Yury Kolesnikov (ChSPZ), Oleg Kirsanov (Karelsky Okatysh) and Sergey Lobazov (ZMZ), who were included in the top 200 most professional IT directors.
   The rating of 200 most professional HR directors included Irina Zavarina (ChSPZ) and Mikhail Yurinov (Karelsky Okatysh).

   For information: The rating was done by the Association of Managers and Kommersant Publishing House. During preliminary research 3,500 Russian managers were chosen to take part in the rating. The rating was done by 215 experts, representing largest Russian investment, consulting and auditing companies, federal and regional authorities, professional and business unions and organizations. Professional qualities were evaluated on seven criteria - personality, financial, corporate, commercial, innovations, social and communications. The objectivity of collecting and processing of information was checked and confirmed by Deloitte and Touche international auditing company.
