Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), completed the scheduled repair of Ò-2 power transformer at 110/10 kV Rovnoye substation in the Rovensky District of the Saratov Region.
In the course of the scheduled repair, power engineers of Volga Production Department completely replaced obsolete and worn-out 110 kV hermetically-sealed oil-filled bushings with domestic bushings with solid insulation. In addition, the works involved anticorrosive treatment of the transformer, oil drying and degassing. The works involved the use of domestic UVF-4000 device with better energy efficiency as compared to analogs.
110/10 kV Rovnoye substation supplies power to household and agricultural consumers, as well as to oil and gas sector consumers in the central part of the Rovensky District. Critical consumers include the district hospital, irrigation and oil industry facilities.
Scheduled repair of the substation will significantly enhance operational reliability of the power transformer, the substation as a whole, and power supply to consumers. In addition, it extends the equipment life cycle and enhances its fire safety.
