In the course of integrated capital repair of 110/10 kV Zavolzhskaya substation, Chuvashenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), replaced 6 high-voltage bushings of power transformers, renewed blowing electric motors of power transformers, repaired 22 110 kV disconnecting switches, 6 110 kV switches, 7 voltage transformers, 21 current transformers, and 5 high-frequency guards and coupling condensers. In addition, works on the substation involved repair of 2 power transformers, replacement of 12 IOS-110 insulators for OSK-10-110B insulators, and replacement of 400 kg of transformer oil.
This power facility of the 10 kV OHL provides power supply for one of the most significant social facilities of the Krasnoarmeisky District—Zavolzhskaya gas compressor station. In 2016, Chuvashenergo branch plans to perform capital repairs on 22 110/35/10/6 kV substations, 832.8 km of power transmission lines of all voltage classes, 455 10/6/0.4 kV transformer substations in total. Moreover, provision is made for removal of trees and scrubs from power transmission line routes within the area of 458.9 ha.
