Technological connection to Rosseti Volga power grids: special attention to medical and agricultural workers

Over the 4 months of this year, the specialists of Rosseti Volga (a brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) have connected over 3,500 new consumers to the company's electric grids. Thus, the Volga power engineers connected on average about 30 facilities per day.

In the context of the fight against coronavirus and the intensification of preventive measures in the event of a pandemic, special attention of power engineers is given to technical connection of medical facilities. So, one of the 16 modular infection centers being built in the Russian regions by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was built in Orenburg last month. To include a multifunctional medical center with 60 beds in the network, more than 800 kW of power was required, which was provided to the Rosseti Volga facility.

Contributing to improving the quality and accessibility of medical care to the population, power engineers also ensured the technical connection of two feldsher-midwife stations in the Chuvash Republic and two in the Penza region. Earlier, feldsher-midwife stations built in the Pugachevsky and Krasnokutsky districts of the Saratov region were connected to electric grids. This year, the specialists of Rosseti Volga are increasing the scale of technical connection of agricultural enterprises. This has a positive effect on the development of the agricultural sector of the area of responsibility of the company, and on the food security of the regions.

For example, in the Samara region, a plant nursery (80 kW), a greenhouse (40 kW), and a meat producer (40 kW) received electricity. In the Saratov region – a greenhouse complex for growing vegetables (500 kW). In the Chuvash Republic, there is a dairy farm (50 kW) and a grain warehouse (70 kW). In the Penza region – a plant for the production of feed for sturgeon fish (150 kW), PFE farm (20 kW), several parking lots of agricultural machinery. In the Ulyanovsk region, there is a potato storage (150 kW), several warehouses of peasant farm economy, a grain processing enterprise (95 kW), a dairy plant (105 kW). In the Orenburg region, almost two dozen agricultural plots are connected to the Rosseti Volga grids for irrigating the cultivation of melons, grain stores (350 kW), mechanized currents (150 kW), and livestock complexes (1,300 kW). For this purpose, 14 overhead power transmission lines with a voltage of 10 and 0.4 kV were specially built, about 700 reinforced concrete poles, 15 transformer substations were installed, more than 60 km of wire were installed.

In addition to dozens of industrial enterprises, social facilities and infrastructure of intracity and township districts, residential complexes, energy, Rosseti Volga provide connection to electric grids and unique objects. So, work is currently underway on the technological connection of a solar power station in the Orenburg region. The power capacity of the generating facility will be 55 MW.

Technological connection is one of the main activities of Rosseti Volga. Currently, in order to prevent the spread of acute respiratory viral infections, the reception of calls is temporarily carried out only in absentia. A remote application form for connecting to company networks is available on the official website www.mrsk-volgi.ru. Also, the application can be sent through the power grid portal of Rosseti, PJSC (https://ïîðòàë-òï.ðô) or using the new mobile application Rosseti – Personal Account, available to users of Android and iOS devices.
