Power engineers of Mordovenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), actively implement the repair campaign.
According to the schedule, four 35–110 kV substations will be repaired in September of this year. These include one 110/35/10 kV substation, one 110/10 kV substation, and two 35/10 kV substations.
Repair operations will also cover 64 10/0.4 kV transformer substations, two 10/0.4 kV power transformers, 93.3 km of 0.4–10 kV overhead transmission lines, and 6.2 km of 35–110 kV overhead transmission lines.
Works scheduled for September will also include replacement of 4.6 km of 0.4–10 kV non-insulated outputs at transformer substations of Mordovian settlements for overhead lines with shielded wires, which significantly reduce the possibility of emergency outages. Works on clearing and expanding forest corridors are underway. By the end of September, the area of over 128 ha is expected to be processed.
Measures of the repair campaign are a necessary part of preparation of electric equipment and power facilities for operations during the 2016–2017 autumn and winter peak load periods.
