Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny city will be soon elected as a member of Board of Directors of KAMAZ Inc. at the next special or annual meeting of the Company.

His name was put forward by M. Shaimiev, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, who is representing interests of one of KAMAZ Inc.’s owners i.e. the Ministry of State Property of Tatarstan. I. Khalikov will replace Rashit Khamadeev, a previous mayor of the city who has also been the member of Board of Directors.

Prior to his appointment as a city mayor, Ildar Khalikov has for several years worked at KAMAZ Inc as Deputy Director General on Economics and Finance, and he was also responsible for corporate development. Several times before he has been already elected as a member of Board of Directors where he represented the Company.

Ildar Khalikov will take part in all the meetings of Board of Directors of KAMAZ Inc. before his official appointment.
