On 27 October 2003, a meeting of the corporate directorate commercial units leadership and managers of the JSC CenterTelecom affiliates was held in the CenterTelecom head office.
Integrated approach to the sales of telecommunication services and pursuance of the concerted marketing strategy recently adopted by the Company's Board of Directors were in the focus of the discussers' attention.
The increase of the telecommunications services sales volume in a tough competitive environment, in the view of the JSC CenterTelecom Deputy General Director for Commerce Mr. Sergey Pridantsev who delivered a report on the subject, requires new coordinated yet non-conventional approach to shaping the customer care activities. CenterTelecom with its powerful technical and technological infrastructure is capable already today of providing integrated customer care facilities, furnishing the users with a broad spectrum of telecommunications services.
Messrs. Nikita Brodskiy, Vladimir Solonenko, and Ms. Natalya Steblenko, heads of the commercial units of the Moscow, Voronezh and Kaluga affiliate companies respectively, gave their colleagues the benefit of their experiences of the telecom services sales and efficient conducting business locally under the CenterTelecom unified trademark.
The urgency of creating a unified commercial business pattern is dictated not only by the identity of the financial and economic tasks faced by the CenterTelecom affiliates, but also by the new law "On Telecommunications" which will become effective from 1 January 2004, the speakers at the meeting noted.
Likewise, the commercial directors debated on the contractual relationship with large-scale operators both pursuant to the agreements already signed and those under preparation.
JSC CenterTelecom General Director Mr. Ruben Amaryan took part in the meeting functioning.
