ROSSETI

June 1, 2020

Shareholders of five companies of Rosseti Group of Companies decided to change their names as a part of the transition to the unified brand

On May 29, 2020, the shareholders of five companies of Rosseti PJSC, within the framework of the General Meetings of Shareholders, decided to change their legal names in accordance with the unified brand architecture.

The following names have been approved: Rosseti Volga, PJSC; Rosseti Moscow Region, PJSC; Rosseti Lenenergo, PJSC; Rosseti Kuban, PJSC and Rosseti Sibir, PJSC. Earlier, similar decisions were made by shareholders of Rosseti Tyumen, JSC; Rosseti Yug, PJSC and Rosseti Northern Caucasus, PJSC.

Thus, already eight subsidiaries have begun the second stage of rebranding. At the first stage (from June 2019), all the grid companies of the group began the transition to using the new name containing the “Rosseti” trademark in corporate and marketing communications and on all corporate design media.

The introduction of the unified ideological and visual platform and, resulting in  building of the “Rosseti” brand awareness open up additional opportunities for increasing the investment attractiveness of the subsidiaries. The integral brand symbolizes common standards of the quality of work of Rosseti Group throughout Russia. It allows strengthening the relationship of grid companies, it also means a fundamentally new level of responsibility and is an additional incentive for increased efficiency.

Renaming does not entail changes in the rights and obligations in relation to consumers and counterparties. Moreover, the use of the unified all-Russian “Rosseti” brand, along with initiatives aimed at popularizing the industry, will enhance the prestige of the power industry profession.
