A specially created commission of the year carried out a preliminary readiness inspection of production divisions (PD) of Rosseti Volga branch (brand of IDGC of Volga, PJSC) – Chuvashenergo to operate during the autumn-winter peak loads of 2019-2020. Members of the commission assessed the fulfillment of the necessary conditions for confirmation of readiness for AWP. In particular, compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on industrial safety, the presence of production control over compliance with industrial safety requirements, including labor protection and fire safety were checked. The commission also monitored the staffing level, the availability of emergency reserve of basic equipment, the exchange collection, the necessary materials and means to perform emergency recovery works in accordance with the approved standards, as well as the availability of fire extinguishing equipment. Readiness inspection of the Chuvashenergo branch for conducting emergency and recovery works in the conditions of low temperatures, performance of the approved plan of preparation for operation in the autumn-winter period including carrying out planned repairs, and also technical survey and diagnostics of the equipment participating in ensuring passing of AWP is made. Availability of personal protective equipment, clothing, tools and so on has been also checked. Special attention is paid to the normative-technical and operational documentation. Also, the specialists of the Chuvashenergo branch developed additional measures to improve the reliability of the power system. After inspection of the divisions, the next stage has been started: assessment of the branch readiness for AWP as a whole. The result of this work should be obtaining the Winter Readiness Passport - a document confirming that the distribution power grid complex and the personnel of Chuvashenergo are ready to work during the period of maximum loads.
