The Rosseti Volga branch (brand of IDGC of Volga PJSC) - Samara Grids and Zetta LLC signed a roadmap for the development of electric road transport in the Russian Federation at the premises of the Samara Region. The document was signed by Deputy General Director - Director of the Samara Grids branch Konstantin Sanaev and General Director of the electric transport manufacturing company Denis Shchurovsky.

The document provides for a set of measures aimed at the development of charging infrastructure, stimulating the availability of infrastructure for the operation of electric transport and the localization of the production of equipment for charging infrastructure. Among the main areas are testing Samara Grids charging infrastructure for ZETTA electric transport, determining the geography of the optimal location of future charging stations for electric transport, taking into account the growing number of electric means of transport in the region, and implementing pilot projects aimed at developing charging infrastructure. The roadmap is designed for 3 years and can be extended by agreement of the parties.

The signed document is the beginning of a unique project on the interaction of power engineers directly with the manufacturer of electric transport, which will increase the number of charging stations for electric transport and will significantly improve the development of infrastructure in the region. In addition, thanks to the interaction of power engineers and Zetta LLC, it will be possible to test a new electric car in the Samara Region, taking into account the possibility of charging at existing gas stations and determine the optimal locations for future charging stations.
