The XIII International Contest of Professional Skill in Power Industries of the CIS Member States will be held on September 19 — 23 in Makinsk (Kazakhstan). The International Contest will be participated by of substations of 110 kV (and more) repair and maintenance teams. The Russian Federation will be represented by Rossetti PJSC team of IDGC of Volga, PJSC specialists.
The honor to be called the best power engineers of Russia and represent the country was won by the representatives of Volga region in the Inter-regional contest of professional skills carried out by the Rossetti Group of Companies this July. 15 strongest teams from all over Russia were fighting for "gold". The team of IDGC of Volga, PJSC comprising engineers of Samara Distribution Grids with confidence and advantage of 27 points to the closest rival, won the first prize. Now, representatives of the Volga regions will need to prove being best of the best in international contest. The professional contest comprises 6 phases, including theoretical knowledge assessment and demonstration of practical skills in both regular and emergency situations.
"The team of IDGC of Volga, PJSC is relatively "young", the work experience of some participants does not exceed two years. However, participation in the contest of the kind confirms their professionalism and ability to work with full dedication. We have proved that we are the best in Russia. Hopefully, we will show our skills and ability at this contest" - said Andrei Barhatkin, the leader of the Russian team.
