Specialists of Saratov Distribution Grids, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), continue integrated maintenance activities at Tekhnologicheskaya substation in Engelsskiy district of the Saratov region. Maintenance activities cover equipment, buildings and structures of the substation. During this scheduled maintenance program, specialists of Privolzhskoye PD completed repairs of the core electrical equipment of 110 and 6 kV switchgear (disconnecting switches, short-circuiting switches, isolating switches, auxiliary transformers and 6 kV circuit breakers), and installed bushings with solid insulation at power transformers Ò-1 and Ò-2 instead of hermetically-sealed oil-filled bushings. These operations will contribute to improved fire safety of the facility and reliability of power supply. State-of the-art bushings with solid insulation ensure safe cooperation of the power transformer and reduced operating costs. Estimated service life of this type of bushings is 30 years. By the start of the autumn and winter period, specialists of the branch will complete repairs at 6 kV indoor switchgear co-located with the operations control room, as well as repairs of 6 kV collector busbars, cable support trays, etc. 110 kV Tekhnologicheskaya substation provides electric power to power users of the second category – water treatment facilities of the water treatment plant. Integrated maintenance activities will significantly increase operational reliability of the substation.
