A working meeting took place today at the Headquarters of Gazprom between Alexander Ryazanov, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom, and the CEOs of Bergesen AS Shipping, Norwegian ship-owning company.
The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in the natural gas production, liquefaction and gas exports from the Russian Arctic offshore fields. The parties agreed on undertaking a detailed examination of the technical and economic aspects of the Russian liquefied natural gas production and transportation to foreign markets.
The meeting was held within the cooperation prospects with companies offering their experience, technical and financial resources for implementation of the projects on LNG production and transportation by sea.
