Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group), completed preliminary inspections of the power grids availability for peak loads of the autumn-winter period.
The Commission consisting of representatives of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and the Process Supervision Directorate for the Volga Region checked implementation of the repairs and investment programs, area and quality of cleared ROW corridors, personnel preparedness and availability of emergency materials. According to the Commission's report, for 7 months Orenburgenergo repaired 985 km of overhead power transmission lines and 1,256 substations of all voltage categories, cleared 367 ha of ROW corridors. The dispatch services checked and updated 465 process sheets of ice melting on power transmission lines.
To practise coordination under emergency conditions, power engineers conducted 107 emergency response trainings. The final inspection in Orenburgenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC is to be launched on September 26.If the Commission issues a positive opinion, the branch will receive the Certificate of Preparedness for Autumn-Winter Operations.
