On September 6, ALROSA’s subsidiary CJSC “Geotransgaz” commissioned an integrated gas treatment plant (IGTP) at the Senomanskaya field of the Beregovoye gas condensate deposit with the capacity of 1 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
Back in December 2012, CJSC “Geotransgaz” commissioned the first stage of the Valanzhinskaya production field of the Beregovoye deposit with the production capacity of 1 billion cubic meters of gas and 300 thousand tons of gas condensate a year. Thus, the aggregate annual production capacity of “Geotransgaz” is now 2 billion cubic meters of gas and 300 thousand tons of condensate.
The IGTP in the Senomanskaya production field was designed by OJSC “VNIPIgazdobycha” (a subsidiary of “Gazprom” located in Saratov) with regard to the most advanced technologies operated in the Russian gas industry. Its amazingly short construction period was only 8 months.
Commissioning of the new production facilities will enable CJSC “Geotransgaz” to increase its operation parameters of revenues and profit, finance construction of infrastructure facilities, and enhance investment attractiveness of gas assets of the ALROSA Group before probable sale as part of its strategy of reducing non-core assets.
The reserves of the Senomanskaya field of the Beregovoye deposit owned by CJSC “Geotrasgaz” are about 25 billion cubic meters of gas. CJSC “Geotransgaz” and OJSC “Sibneftegaz” (NOVATEC Group) exploit the Beregovoye gas condensate deposit together, each within its license areas.
