By the decision of SISTEMA’ s board of directors the vice president of Mobile TeleSystems JSC Alexei Buyanov has been appointed vice president of the corporation. He is to head its department of financial restructuring programs.

Alexei N. Buyanov graduated from the Moscow physics and engineering institute with a diploma in applied mathematics and physics. He has been with SISTEMA JSFC since 1994. From 1994 to 1995 Buyanov held different positions at the SISTEMA property complex. In 1995 he was appointed chief of administration at ZAO SISTEMA-Invest and, later, its vice president. In 1997 Buyanov became the first vice president of ZAO SISTEMA-Invest.

From 1998 to 2002 he was the vice president of Mobile TeleSystems JSC.
