October 18, 2011 – JSC SITRONICS (LSE:SITR), a leading supplier of solutions in telecommunications, IT and microelectronics in Russia and CIS announced that its subsidiary SITRONICS India signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tech Mahindra, a leading provider of solutions and services to the telecommunications industry. In the framework of the agreement, Tech Mahindra will promote the OSS/BSS-solutions of SITRONICS India in the Indian market and both the parties would mutually explore and leverage their expertise in development, implementation and support of different IT solutions.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding with Tech Mahindra is an important step in expansion of the business of SITRONICS in the region, which will allow to experience and resources of local partners for promotion of company’s OSS/BSS products on the Indian market. This is for the first time that Tech Mahindra has partnered with a Russian entity. SITRONICS India already has the experience of implementing OSS/BSS-products in the Indian market. The FORIS solution was successfully implemented in for the cellular operator SSTL (MTS India). The solution is customized as per the requirements of the local regulations and the telecom market.
